Literacy Homework – Due in Monday 11th April

On Monday we will be writing a set of instructions to give out to other children to teach them how to use an Applemac.

For your Literacy homework, I would like you to make some notes on how to make a DVD using an Applemac. You need to think about the whole process (from planning to burning the disk). Try to think of ALL of the different ways that you have learnt to edit a DVD.

DO NOT write the instructions – just make some notes. Enjoy the sunshine!

We are taking part in a reading project with Chorlton High. During the project, we will be studying a Scream Street book by Tommy Donbavand. This week some year 8 children, known as Reading Buddies, visited to share what books they enjoyed reading in year 5. At the end of the visit they read us the first two chapters of Scream Street. We are actually going to meet Tommy Donbavand at the end of the project! Have you read any of Tommy Donbavand’s books?
